WoWing with a Great Keyboard – Whats the Best Though?

corsair keyboardAs an avid World of Warcraft gamer I like to use the best peripherals available. While Razor’s products have been my go to product for many years and likewise with Logitech, Corsair have now entered the market with a killer keyboard, the Corsair K series.

Corsair and Cherry introduced the MX RGB Project gaming keyboard, based on a Vengeance K70 gaming keyboard fitted with new Cherry MX RGB key switches.

Like the Corsair Gaming K70 RGB keyboard, I honestly feel like this is one of the best gaming keyboards currently available and are the first ever fully customizable multicolour backlit mechanical keyboards.

The K70 RGB is the standard layout keyboard of the three Corsair Gaming keyboards, the other two being the K95 RGB with 18 additional macro keys and the ten keyless K65 RGB. Based on the design of the K70 gaming keyboard, the Cherry MX RGB gaming keyboard uses Cherry’s latest MX RGB mechanical switches.

If you’re one of those who isn’t fond of those incredibly high priced mechanical alternatives, read up on the Corsair Raptor K30 and K50 gaming keyboards to see which one suits your gaming needs.

The Corsair Vengeance K70 Mechanical Gaming Keyboard is the answer to customer complaints of the K60. Corsair gaming is also releasing their own gaming mouse, the M65. The stars of the show are the Corsair Gaming K95 RGB, K70 RGB and K65 RGB.

Corsair may have you covered with the new K70 mechanical gaming board, however The K95 gaming keyboard is Corsair Gaming’s new flagship product and features German-made Cherry MX RGB mechanical key switches, aircraft-grade aluminium baseplate and a 16.8 million multicolour per-key backlighting system.

The Corsair K95 RGB Vengeance keyboard was as solid and responsive as I expected after having tested out the K70. The Corsair K70 is a fully mechanical, backlit keyboard that’s designed for performance gaming.

To separate the mechanical Vengeance keyboards from this latest set I now have the Raptor gaming series of peripherals. The keyboards, mice and headsets are currently available through Corsair or Best Buy. Overall, the Corsair Vengeance M95 mouse and K95 keyboard are two fantastic pieces of gaming hardware.

Being relatively new to mechanical keyboards the Corsair Gaming K95 RGB was quite a drastic change to what I have used before, but one that I am really pleased I got to try. This Corsair Gaming K95 RGB mechanical keyboard is one of the most expensive keyboards that I have reviewed, it has full multicolour pre-key backlighting which allows you to customise it to how you want to play.

Corsair has expanded its gaming peripherals’ business by forming the Corsair Raptor series alongside with their Corsair Vengeance series. The Corsair Gaming H1500 and H2100 Headsets are part of Corsair’s new line of high-performance gaming equipment. With CUE (Corsair Utility Engine) software, you’ll be able to edit the colours and functionality of both your Corsair Gaming mice and keyboards.

Beyond the lighting effects and the new Corsair Gaming branding, the keyboards are hardly different than the older Vengeance K95 and K70 keyboards, even featuring the same sleek design.
